On Monday, the Calcutta High Court had requested a report from the police amid the Visva-Bharati standoff over students’ demands to reopen hostels and hold online exams.
The court ordered the Birbhum Police Superintendent to submit the report within 24 hours. He must be present (physically or virtually) at the hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
