RM2.5m Tamparuli Girls’ Hostel will open soon | Daily Express Online

Kota Kinabalu: The Tamparuli Girls’ Hostel in Kampung Bantayan is expected to be fully operational by the middle of this year, Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu South (RCKKS) 3310 President Benjamin Chin said.

A joint project with the HELP Foundation, he said, the building is capable of accommodating up to 200 students when fully operational. “The hostel, which was completed at a cost of approximately RM2.5 million, will provide safe and comfortable accommodation for many disadvantaged and poor rural students from remote villages in Tamparuli, and enable them to continue their education for a better and brighter future.
